Dr. Daniel Helin

Optometrist

Dr. Daniel Helin was born in Pickerington, Ohio and attended St. Francis DeSales High school. Upon graduation from high school, he attended The Ohio State University where he majored in Biology, with a minor in Business in 2018, graduating with honors. Dr. Helin continued his buckeye tradition at The Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, OH and graduated in 2022 with a Doctorate in Optometry.

 

Dr. Helin was president of the Contact Lens Advancement Society at Ohio State and has a great interest in specialty contact lens fitting for issues such as keratoconus, dry eye, and corneal irregularities. He is MiSight myopia control certified as well as a member of the AOA and NCOS. Dr. Helin is also involved in treating anterior segment disease along with primary care optometric needs.

 

Dr. Helin moved to Asheville, NC in 2022 to join Northlake Eye and relocated to Concord, NC in 2023 to join the Concord Mills office. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors by running and hiking, playing ice hockey and golf, and exploring different restaurants within the area.
